| This Bare-shanked Screech-Owl was photographed in the forest below the Volcan Irazu, Costa Rica in March of 2011. In the field, his bolder than normal white eyebrows made him a bit distinct from the other Bare-shanked Screech owls we had seen this night. We found several individuals of this species in the Volcan Irazu area. |
