| This Bare-shanked Screech-Owl was photographed right along the main road to Volcan Irazu, Costa Rica in March of 2011. Bare-shanked Screech-Owls are found at higher elevations in the mountains. We found several of these on the Volcan Irazu. Like most screech-owls they are very bold. |
