Pictures
are often deceiving of the Cape Pygmy-Owl. This is a small, sparrow
size bird. Listen for its call then look for either a bunch of mobbing
(noisy) small song birds or a "group" of small birds flying by
(trying to drive off the owl). The owl's call and the attacking group of
birds will give its location away.
