| This Mottled Owl came right in while we were whistling for an Unspotted Saw-whet Owl. He was really interested in finding the smaller owl and was seriously looking for it when he came in. Certainly he figured he might make a dinner of a smaller owl on this night. Mottled Owls are really agressive hunters. This was in Huitepec near San Cristobal in Chiapas Southern Mexico. |
