This Northern Pygmy-Owl seemed unaffected by the group of song birds making a racket and diving in at it until an American Robin got a little to close and the owl took a bite out of him (notice the ball of feathers in its mouth). This owl is very well known by the song birds and it seems there is always a bunch of attacking birds with it. |
