This beautiful Vermiculated Screech-Owl was found at the La Selva Biological Reserve in Costa Rica. This owl was very responsive, bold, and came in very close onto an open limb. This is very different in behavior from the very secretive Guatemalan Screech-Owls I have seen in several areas of Mexico.
