This beautiful Vermiculated Screech-Owl was very responsive, bold, and came in very close onto an open limb. This is very different in behavior from the very secretive Guatemalan Screech-Owls I have seen in several areas of Mexico. This owl was found at the La Selva Biological Reserve in Costa Rica.
