This
Barn Owl in Carrizo California, very surprisingly, allowed me to drive
right up next to it, stick my camera out the window and take this
photo from about 10 feet away. Barn Owls seem to flush very fast and
it was quite unusual for one to just sit on a post and let me drive
right up and take several photos at "point blank" range.
